At the Future Business Leaders of America District I Leadership Conference held on Saturday, January 26, at Dorman High School, Dixie High School students were the recipients of numerous district awards.  

The following awards were received:  Introduction to Financial Math – 1st Bradley Ware; Introduction to Business Presentation – 1st Team of Savannah Wojtkowski and Sidney Stone; Introduction to Business Communications – 1st Justin Anderson, 1st  Makinsie Ware; Business Communications – 1st Reagan Thompson; Advertising – 2nd Ivie Gray, 3rd Savannah Patrick, 4th Vic Sears, 5th Addie Little; Introduction to Business – 1st Blake Allen, 2nd Lawson Gamble; Introduction to Public Speaking – 3rd Anna Bliss; Introduction to Business Procedures – 3rd Ashley Dent; Securities and Investments – 1st – Alex McAlister; Political Science – 4th Zach Gamble; Personal Finance – 1st Te Campbell; Hospitality Management – 1st Team of Mackenzie Freeman and Kylie Langley; Sports and Entertainment Management – 4th Team of Conner McClean and Elizabeth Ashley; Banking and Financial Systems – 2nd Team of Chandler Smalley, Dawson Glenn, and Billy Mann; Management Decision Making – 1st Team of Luke Hopkins and Linsey Sykes

All of these FBLA members are eligible to represent Dixie High School in the State Competitions to be held in Charleston in March.  FBLA-PBL is the largest business career student organization in the world. The high school division has over 215,000 members. Dixie FBLA advisors are Brian Milford and Jason Burton.
