Take Action SC Visits Westwood!
Westwood Elementary was excited to welcome Mrs. Nell from Take Action SC Environmental Education to speak with our third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students!
Through this engaging presentation, students learned how everyday choices can positively impact our environment.
Students will have opportunities to put their learning into action by recycling responsibly, reducing waste, composting appropriate materials, and using finished compost to enrich the soil in our garden.
We are excited to help our students become thoughtful environmental stewards who understand that even small actions can make a big difference at home and at school!
