Just a reminder to "Fall Back" an hour overnight Saturday!
All visitors to our Fall Festival tonight should park at or near the front of the school. Both front doors will be open for admission. Please do not park behind the school as the hayride tractors will be loading and unloading near the playground. Thank you.
Westwood Parents/Guardians... Please accompany your students into the office to sign them in after 7:45. We ask that you do not let them out of your vehicle unattended at the front of the school for obvious safety reasons. Thank you for your patience, cooperation and concern for the safety of our children.
AHS is having aTown Wide Pep Rally on Thursday in Hite Stadium. In conjunction with the SIC, AHS is hoping to invite as many community members as possible.
Different teams and organizations will be running carnival games, food trucks from the community will be there for dinner, and we will close out the evening with a pep rally recognizing senior fall athletes.

Hello Westwood parents! Our fall festival is next week Thursday November 2nd from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. It's going to be a lot of fun! We are asking for donations based on grade level. Third grade please bring in individually wrapped candy, fourth grade please bring in canned drinks, fifth grade please bring in individually wrapped chips. Also, please remind your student that if they'd like to enter the poster contest that they need to turn those in by Monday October 30th to their homeroom teacher. Thank you!
Car Rider Line: Beginning Monday Oct. 23rd , all car riders arriving after 7:45 will be directed to the front entrance. Parent/ guardians must accompany their students into the office to sign them in after 7:45. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Dear Parents/Guardians: As we get closer to the time change, please be reminded that our doors open at 7:00 am. We really need your students in class at 7:45, having eaten breakfast, and ready for instruction. Please do not leave your child in an unattended car rider area after 7:45. Your assistance is greatly appreciated! Should the need arise for a late arrival (after 7:45) please use the front entrance with your child to properly sign them in.
Tomorrow we will have a Petting Zoo at Westwood as part of our behavior program. If you DO NOT want your child to pet the animals, please send a signed note to your child's homeroom teacher. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Erskine Dance Camp
Beta Club Induction - Please enter the doors at the glass hallway on the library end of the school. The ceremony will be in the gym.
Dance pickup procedures: 4th grade pickup will be in the front driveway of the school. 3rd and 5th grades will be picked up in the regular car line. (Siblings will be together with the OLDEST sibling's grade level).
The hours are from 6:00 - 8:00.
Grandparents Breakfast schedule: All times are 7:00 am - 8:00 am
Tuesday - 3rd grade

Thursday - 5th grade
The Book Fair will be open at 7:00 each day and will close promptly at 8:00 due our class schedule.
Title I Family Night at Westwood is rescheduled for Tuesday, September 12 from 5-6:30. Smokey Gray's BBQ, Vampire Penguin, and Wired Treats will have food and treats available for purchase. The book fair will be available for shopping as well! The Beta Club will have tickets available for $1 to purchase a chance to win 1 of 4 $50 book fair gift certificates.
